Overhead Line
Auto Section Switch (Oil/Air)
Features
Multi-point neutral grounding system. Can make or break malfunctioning areas of power distribution line.
Minimizing the damage to customer facilities.
- High technic
Small and light, which makes it easy to use
Uses Air Puffer-type interruption method, as it uses air insulation
Fuse attachment, maintenance and repair easy
CT-type base insulator applied
Available in a wide range of temperatures -20℃ ~ 40℃ - Safety
Safe operation in live wire
Operation and opening can be viewed by eye – prevents accidents during maintenance/repair
Excellent arc interruption abilities - Easy installation
Can be installed vertically or horizontally
Easy operation via flexible type manual cable method
Small and light, which makes it easy for installation - Overload protection
In over current lock below 800A, it operates under inverse time characteristic. - Charged spring trip
When the product is undergoing breaking operation according to T-C curve due to overloading, or if the backup protection is operating even if ASS wasn’t broken as overload has been removed, zero voltage will occur. Then, ASS will instantaneously release to isolate the line downstream of ASS. - Inrush-current blocking function
When ASS has operated correctly (Current bigger than 10% but smaller than 100% of setting current) and has broken an opening motion and then proceeded to close, this function will stop ASS mistaking the inrush-current from downstream equipment and malfunctioning. - Over current locking funtion
If a malfunction which is bigger than rated interrupting current (900A) occurs, the prouct will product the switch. If the current is biger than the lock current (800A±10%), the switch will lock. GASS will then be interrupted in zero voltage after malfunctioning current is removed by backup protection. - Service condition
